The Globetrekker chest is inspired by an original trunk from 1914 that Timothy Oulton discovered at an antiques market. Intrigued by the intricate detailing and beautiful brass plate of the trunk, Tim deconstructed the antique and redesigned it to form a unique and contemporary storage piece for the home. The chest's hand-curved wood banding, vintage leather handles and brass hinges capture the authentic charm and delicate craftsmanship of old-world luggage whilst its rugged and distressed aluminium finish, reminiscent of military aircrafts, transports the original Globetrekker into the modern world of travel.
