Skilled specialists slice logs into very thin layers, producing many square metres of genuine wood surface that are then applied to wood-based panels. At the end of their lifespan, these materials can be separated by type, recycled, or even composted. This makes veneer the thinnest form of solid wood in the world (Initiative Holz und Furnier).
Disselkamp use only high-quality veneer sourced from certified forests, and no trees are felled to produce the recycled wood boards we incorporate.
